Children’s Musical Adventures at Cowbridge Music Festival

Isaac is highly passionate about education and community engagement work; actively promoting both the horn and classical music to the general public wherever he performs.

He frequently performs with OAE TOTS, where he works with musicians from the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment to create engaging musical experiences for young children. He has also worked with Academy of St Martin in the Fields for their upcoming film series based on Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Isaac is experienced in giving workshops and recitals in schools. He has extensive experiences mentoring from primary school students to vulnerable adults in various festivals and education institutions; such as the Australian Combined Schools Music Festival, Melbourne Youth Orchestras, Melbourne Conservatorium of Music - The University of Melbourne, Children’s Musical Adventures, City Lit Percussion Orchestra, Chineke! Juniors, and OAE Education, as well as projects with Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and Royal Academy of Music Open Academy. Isaac is a Learning Support Tutor and directs the Natural Horn Ensemble at Royal Academy of Music.

Isaac also takes the horn into care homes, giving interactive concerts to residents. He is especially interested in how music can affect people with neurological conditions, having experienced first hand the powers music can have. He has worked extensively with Magic Me’s Cocktails In Care Homes, Music in Hospitals and Care, as well as Australian Unity Age Care Homes.
