Isaac began to play bowls after his parents joined the local bowls club in Melbourne. Within 3 months of playing, he became Glen Waverley Bowls Club’s novice champion, beating his dad 21-20 in the final, and went on to win multiple indoor and outdoor titles. Since relocating to UK, he was part of Cardiff Indoor Bowling Club’s squad that won the Welsh Indoor Bowls Association Premier Division Club Championship and Welsh Knockout Cup in 2018. He was also selected for the Welsh Under 25 International Development Squad in the same year. In 2021, Isaac progressed to the National Final Playoff in Disability Bowls England’s National Singles, and won the DBE Margaret Smith MBE Shield. Isaac made his county debut for Middlesex in the Liberty Trophy in 2023.

Isaac is also a VI Director and has been selected as a Director as part of Disability Bowls England’s Indoor and Outdoor High-Performance Squads since 2022. He was awarded his England International Cap #57 at the 2022 Outdoor Para Home Nations Championships in Weston-super-Mare, England, where he directed Stephen Hartley and aided England in retaining the title for the sixth consecutive year. Isaac and Stephen were both subsequently selected for the 2023 Indoor Para Home Nations Championships in Newport, Wales, in which he aided England in retaining the title once again. Isaac made his World Bowls Championships debut in Gold Coast 2023 where he once again directed Stephen Hartley in the para bowls VIP mixed pairs event, winning bronze.

Isaac has been featured on the front cover of Bowls International’s January 2021 Issue, and has appeared as a guest on Bowls England’s “The Extra End” Podcast.

Isaac currently plays for Gerrards Cross Bowls Club in Buckinghamshire for outdoor, Century Bowling and Sports Club in Middlesex for indoor, and is a member of Disability Bowls England. He bowls with Henselite Tiger Evo and Tiger 4 Heavy.
